RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Lena Milosevic claimed the Great American Conference Player of the Week award following her performance in the weekend victory against Henderson State. She played a pivotal role to help the Muleriders claim a 6-1 win over the Reddies. Milosevic, a Novi Sad, Vojvodina, Serbia native, last earned the award during her freshman season in 2019. She becomes the first Mulerider to receive the weekly award since 2021.
Milosevic collected wins from the No. 2 singles and No. 2 positions as the Muleriders defeated the Reddies, 6-1, in a non-conference contest. She paired with Annika Berrendorf to score a 6-1 doubles win. In singles play, overcame a first-set loss to Kristina Kozlova to collect a 2-6, 7-6, 10-7 victory.
Milosevic and Southern Arkansas return to the courts on Sunday, February 19 for the Mulerider's home opener against the University of West Alabama and Mississippi College.
