MAGNOLIA, Ark. — Mulerider Women's Tennis capped off its week at home with a ranked match against the tenth-ranked Washburn Ichabods. In the match, Washburn ended up sweeping the outing and won 4-0 to clinch the match. 

In doubles play, the Ichabods won the the doubles point at lines two and three, as Jasel Bailey and Mariana Silva Balsa defeated Jolina Mass and Emilie Senepart with a 6-2 final at line two, while Saajida Razick and Daniela Tijaro took on a overcame Victoria Perez and Isabella Lazzerini 6-1 at line three. 

Washburn went on to win the match after winning at lines one, two, and three of singles. At line one, Mass fell to Renske Ubach's with a final of 7-5, 6-1. At two, Senepart dropped to Riko Konno with a final of 6-3, 3-1, but ended with a walkover. For line three, Daniela Tijaro overcame Lazzerini with a final score of 6-1, 6-4.

The Muleriders are heading down south for Spring Break, as Southern Arkansas will travel across the gulf next week. SAU is set to take on the University of Montevallo in Meridian, Mississippi at 11:00 AM on Monday (Mar. 23), No. 2 West Florida in Pensacola, Florida at 1:00 PM on Thursday (Mar. 26), and Spring Hill College in Gulf Shores, Alabama at 1:00 PM on Friday (Mar. 27).
