LAFAYETTE, La. – Six Muleriders set season-bests on day two of the Louisiana Classics and Southern Arkansas registered 11 top-ten placements which included Doug Palmer's third-place finish in the 5000 meter with a season-best time of 15:18.67.
 
Quincy Flowers' team season-best time of 10.90 came in a sixth-place showing in the 100 meter event which featured 25 sprinters. Tyler Shelton added a team season-best time in the 110 meter hurdles with a ninth-place finish in 15.62.
 
Xavier Cooper and Chenier Gardner also produced team season-best showings in their respective events with Copper logging a 12^th-place finish in the 400 meter (49.22) and Gardner hitting the 1:57.04 time mark in a 13^th-place result in the 800 meter.
 
Sinclair Pitts put together a season-best mark in the shot put with a long distance of 45' 8" to place ninth.
