RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference has announced its weekly honors for Men's Indoor Track and Field, and being named this week's GAC Field Athlete of the Week is Keith Smith.
 
The senior from Jefferson, Texas, has earned his second indoor weekly GAC honor during his career at Southern Arkansas University. Smith did so after the senior accounted for the fifth-best mark in the triple jump for NCAA Division II, as the senior landed a mark of 15.55 meters (51' 0.25") at the 11^th Annual Russ Jewett Indoor Gorilla Classic in Pittsburg, Kansas. The Northeast Texan placed first in the competition at Pitt State out of 22 competitors.
