FORT WORTH, Texas — Mulerider Cross Country wrapped up its regular-season schedule this weekend with both the men's and women's teams competing in large, competitive fields at the Old Glory Gallop hosted by Dallas Baptist University.
Mulerider Women
In a field of 340 runners, sophomore Rylee Robinson led the Mulerider women with a 173rd-place finish, crossing the line in 20:39.61. Freshman Faith Gibbs followed in 269th with a time of 22:45.31, setting a new personal record. Rounding out SAU's top finishers was sophomore Emma Dudley, who placed 307th with a time of 24:20.70.
Mulerider Men
On the men's side, Southern Arkansas placed 27th out of 40 teams with 863 total points in a field of 403 runners. Sophomore Hunter Pye led the way, finishing 203rd in 27:08.85, marking a new personal best. Junior Diego Moyafollowed close behind in 227th with a time of 27:28.72, while Brandon Escobar crossed in 242nd at 27:39.40. Charles Patton (249th, 27:46.20), Hez Morris (268th, 28:01.11), and Gary Smith (295th, 28:32.00) rounded out the scoring for the Muleriders.
