RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - The Great American Conference unveiled the GAC Women's Tennis Preseason Poll for the 2025 season on Tuesday morning (Jan. 28). After an impressive 2024 campaign, the Mulerider Women have been named preseason favorites, earning five first-place votes and 25 total points. Additionally, Southern Arkansas holds the #18 spot nationally in the Division II Women's ITA Preseason Top 25 Coaches Poll.
The SAU Women finished last season with an overall record of 20-5 and were named GAC Regular Season Champions after going 4-1 in league play, claiming victories over Harding, Arkansas Tech, Henderson State, and Ouachita Baptist. Sophomore Amelie Gindl received an All-GAC First Team selection last spring, while Josie Holderbach earned a spot on the All-GAC Second Team.
