ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Mulerider Women's Tennis Clark County week has come to an end, as Southern Arkansas took on the Henderson State Reddies to close out the weekend of Great American Conference competition. The Blue and Gold ended up being defeated by HSU with a 7-0 final score.
In doubles play, the Muleriders were immediately down with line three being defaulted, but came back and tied doubles action with a line one win by
Taylor Conway and
Roksana Kokocha, defeating Emilia Nowak and Jordan Parker 6-4. At line three is where Henderson clinched the doubles point, as Adiya Abdugappar and Jenna Kate Bohnert overcame
Isabella Lazzerini and
Jolina Mass 6-3.
In singles play, it was all Reddies, as the Muleriders pushed two matches to a third set, but the rest were overwhelmed.
