RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - The Great American Conference announced its weekly honors on Wednesday and among the student-athletes honored were Southern Arkansas Women's Tennis senior Greta Wallin. The Helsingborg, Sweden native becomes the third Mulerider to receive the GAC's weekly female tennis award. 

Wallin was top notch at the top spot for Southern Arkansas across a 3-0 showing that included wins over Arkansas-Fort Smith, Newman and #25 Northwest Missouri State. She posted a 2-1 mark at doubles line one with partner Annika Berrendorf. The #10-ranked nationally pair defeated Newman's Zeikidze and Brunet 6-3 and then handled NWMSU's Lima de Oliveira and Pignataro 6-0.

She went 3-0 in singles action from line one with wins over UAFS's Csizmadia (6-2, 3-6, 6-1), NU's Issabayeva (6-3, 6-0) and NWMSU's Lima de Oliveira (6-4, 6-4). Newman's top line player held the #54 ranking nationally.
