MAGNOLIA, Ark. - A successful 2023 season on the gridiron has long been put away and the attention turns to 2024 for third-year head coach
Brad Smiley and his Southern Arkansas staff who on Wednesday inked 19 new Muleriders as part of National Signing Day 2024. That total is added to three early period signees to give Smiley 22 new Muleriders that are set to bring their talents to Magnolia.
The newest class includes 11 defenders, 10 offensive players and a long snapper. Geographically, a dozen players hail from the state of Texas, seven call the Natural State home and three are from just south of the state line in Louisiana.
