MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Coming off a successful eight-win campaign last year, finishing second in conference play, fifth-year head coach Brad Smiley and his Southern Arkansas staff have turned their attention towards the 2026 season as they welcome in 16 new Muleriders who have placed pen to paper on National Signing Day in 2026.
 
The up-and-coming 2026 class includes four players on the offensive side of the ball, eight defensive players, one athlete, and two special teams players. The class consists of four players from Arkansas, four players from Louisiana, and eight players from Texas.
