GREENWOOD, Ind. – College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced today their 2025 Football Academic All-America teams with Southern Arkansas' very own Casey Cobb making the list.

Cobb was named to the second team CSC Academic All-America Team for Division II Football thanks to his standout performance in the classroom and on the field.

The senior defensive end from Farmersville, Louisiana finished his career, and time, at SAU by graduating with a degree in Business Administration and a 3.96 GPA in December of 2025. On the field, Cobb totaled 25 tackles, five sacks, five tackles for loss, and three quarterback hurries. Cobb was also a recipient of the number zero this season tabbing him as one of the team captains for his senior year. Cobb also earned honors prior to and after the 2025 season. Prior to the 2025 campaign, Cobb was nominated for the American Football Coaches Association Good Works Team and wrapped up his senior season as an All-Great American Conference (GAC) Second Team member.
