CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – The Southern Arkansas Men's Indoor Track & Field team performed well inside on Saturday at the Redhawk Invitational hosted by Southeast Missouri State. Junior sprinter Bryson Johnson won both the 55M (6.43) with the fastest time by a Mulerider this season and the 200M (22.95), while 29 other top ten finishes were recorded by the SAU Men. Of the 31 total top ten placements, nine resulted in podium finishes.
 
B. Johnson led a clean sweep of each of the events that he placed first in. Travon Johnson placed second in the 55M (6.54) and second in the 200M (23.41), while Keith Smith logged a third-place result in the 55MM (6.55) and Landon Way earned a third-place finish in the 200M (23.45).
 
Hector Hernandez's third-place effort in the 800M (2:04.01) led two other Muleriders that recorded top six finishes in the event, one of which was Wesley Maxwell who podiumed after placing second in the mile run at 4:27.99.
 
Carter Cheek posted the fastest time this season by a Mulerider in the 55M hurdles with a third-place finish at 7.88. Traveon Scott's toss of 49' 9.25" in the shot put led all Muleriders on Saturday and is the longest such throw for the team this season.
 
The Muleriders are back in action at the end of January for the Wendy's Invitational on the 28^th in Pittsburg, Kansas.
