MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The Southern Arkansas Mulerider Football team announced the addition of 29 signees to the program as a result of National Signing Day on Wednesday. The newest class of Muleriders consists of 28 prep stars and one junior college transfer.
 
A state-by-state breakdown of SAU's signing class includes prep athletes from Louisiana (10), Arkansas (8), Texas (6), Tennessee (2), Alabama (1), and Mississippi (1). The lone junior college transfer in Travis Williams hails from Southwest Mississippi Community College.
 
Offensively, Southern Arkansas signed 19 players including a position-high six offensive lineman, while also nabbing five wide receivers, four running backs, two tight ends, and a pair of quarterbacks.
 
On the defensive side of the football, the Muleriders signed four defensive lineman, three defensive backs and three linebackers.
