SAU Geared Up For Final Road Meet

MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Mulerider Track & Field prepares for one final road meet this season, as the Blue and Gold travel to Searcy, Arkansas, for the second of three times this outdoor campaign. The unit is set to compete in Harding University's Bison Multi and Bryan Phillips Invitational over the span of three days (Apr. 9 – 11).
 
To begin the weekend's festivities, competition will begin with the multis, as events are set to begin at 9:50 AM on Thursday (Apr. 9) with the men's decathlon 100m dash. The women's heptathlon will take place at 10:20 AM on Thursday, with the 100m hurdles. Decathlon events are scheduled to wrap up on Thursday, around 1:50-2:00 PM, with the 400m dash. The Heptathlon is set to finish just before, with a 1:40 PM start time for the 200m dash.
 
Friday (Apr. 10) events will begin at 9:30 AM, as athletes will start with the decathlon's 110m hurdles, ending the ten events with the 1,500m at 2:45 PM. The heptathlon will begin at 10:45 AM with the long jump, as the group's seven events will wrap up with the 800m run at 1:30 PM.
 
For Friday, other events will get started at 3:30 PM, as the only event will be the hammer throw for the men and women.
 
Saturday (Apr. 11) afternoon will have the remainder of the events rolling after the national anthem and Harding's senior day festivities, which will start at 2:00 PM. To begin events, the 3,000m steeplechase will begin at 2:30 PM, and the day will be set to conclude with the 4x400m relay, which will start at 7:20 PM.
