Mulerider Women
The last time out for the Muleriders was actually inside, as the group concluded its indoor regular season at the 11th Annual Russ Jewett Indoor Gorilla Classic in Pittsburg, Kansas. Multiple members of the Blue and Gold set new indoor program records, with others having impressive outings individually. Three Mulerider Women broke program records for the indoor schedule, as Diamond Brunn comes off a record-setting long jump of 5.83m (19' 1.5"), which placed her in fifth in the event. Jordan Collins also had an impressive showing in the 200m, placing 15th with an indoor program record finishing time of 25.00. To finish the broken records for the women, Rachel Solano in the 5000m set a program-best time of 19:29.98 and finished in 34th. Of the three record breakers from the last time out, Brunn will be the lone competitor for Southern Arkansas to compete in Searcy, Arkansas.

Plunkett will not be making an appearance at the Harding Invite.  Senior Keith Smith ended up also breaking a program record, as the Jefferson, Texas native accounted for a leap of 15.55m (51' 0.25") in the triple jump to capture first place and qualify for the 2025-26 NCAA DII Indoor National Championships in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Due to Smith's qualification, the senior is forgoing this weekend's meet in Searcy, Arkansas, for preparation of next weekend's national championships (Mar. 13-14). Making the journey for the Mulerider Men, and coming off an impressive indoor season, is Darius James. The freshman recorded an indoor program record back in early February, with his 200m time of 22.09 to place eighth in the event. In that same meet, James went on to finish first in the 60m final with a time of 6.86.
