ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Mulerider Track & Field has concluded competition at the Ouachita Invitational, as Southern Arkansas has now finished its second-straight meet within the Natural State. The Muleriders wrapped up action in Arkadelphia with 24 top-five finishers and six first-place marks.
Mulerider Women
In the javelin throw, sophomore athlete Ambree Collinsworth recorded a first-place spotting, as she recorded a distance of 36.87m (121'). She ended up out-throwing 17 other competitors.
In the women's discus throw, freshman Skyler Phillips heaved for 43.25m (141' 11") to place first in the event and out-throw 16 other athletes by at least 2.5 meters.
Claiming two first-place finishes and a program-best was Jordan Collins. The senior ended up out-running 22 other sprinters in the 100m dash with a personal best of 12.04. Not only that, but bolted by 28 other runners in the 200m, as the native of Huntsville, Texas finished with a program record of 23.94, as well as a provisional mark.
In the Women's 4x400 relay, the Mulerider finished in sixth out of the ten teams to place, as the team (Rylee Robinson, Kaylie Goad, Kailee Carr, Kendal Fellegy) finished with a time of 4:10.83.

Mulerider Men
First for the first-place finishers for the men, Tiquan Box marked a time of 15.19 in the 110m hurdles, as the freshman went on to out-gain 11 other sprinters in the matter. In his heat, he was more than a second and a half ahead of his opponents.
In the triple jump, junior jumper Chad Blake claimed first in the outing, as he went on to record a leap of 13.95m (45' 9.25") to defeat the eight other competitors in the event.
In the Men's 4x400 relay, Southern Arkansas had two teams compete in the running, as team B (Johnny Hart, Charles Patton, Hez Morris, Hunter Pye) placed fourth with a time of 3:33.21. Team A (Wesley Maxwell, Fintan Lehmann, Zach McMillon, Jack Landrum) capped off their outing with a final time of 3:41.93.
