Thursday will consist of only multi events, in which the Muleriders will not have any competitors. In total, Head Coach James Bowlin will travel 48 squad members, with 19 women and 29 men.
Friday begins the action for Southern Arkansas with the weight throw beginning for the women at 11:00 AM, with the men's shot put going on simultaneously. Field events are scheduled to wrap up with the men's triple jump.
Running events will get into motion at 4:00 PM with the women's then men's 55-meter dash. Events on the track are set to finish up with the women's then men's 4x400 relay, starting at 7:50 PM.
The Muleriders are coming off a nearly seven-week long hiatus, as Southern Arkansas was last in action back on December 6th for the Crimson and Gold Invitational in Pittsburg, Kansas.
Diamond Brunn and Keith Smith both enter after an impressive meet back in early December, as Brunn recorded a third-place finish in the women's long jump with a 5.73m (18' 9.5") leap and Smith accounted for a second-place finish in the men's triple jump with a mark of 14.51m (47' 7.25"). Brunn's mark in her last meet ended up being good enough for an NCAA DII Provisional Mark, while Smith's was just .03m shy from earning an NCAA DII Provisional Mark.
