Gindl Tabbed ITA Singles All-American

Tempe, Ariz. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has announced its 2025 Division II Women's Tennis All-Americans. Being named an All-American by the ITA was Southern Arkansas' Amelie Gindl.

Gindl was named an All-American after the sophomore had already accomplished so much this season, such as being named the Great American Conference's (GAC) Women's Tennis Player of the Year after going undefeated against league foes during the regular season. She guided the Muleriders to their first tournament title since 2019. Gindl finished the regular season No. 4 in the ITA singles ranking and, in the fall of 2024, she was the first Southern Arkansas Women's Tennis student-athlete to participate in the ITA Cup and is the first in program history to claim an ITA Central Region title.

As a true freshman, Gindl impressed with 15 wins in the spring season to earn the ITA's Central Region Rookie of the Year accolade. She helped guide the Muleriders to a 2024 GAC Regular Season title while claiming a pair of league Player of the Week honors.
