MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The Mulerider Men's Golf team is making its fourth consecutive appearance, and fifth overall, in NCAA Regional competition as they head to St. Joseph, Missouri for the 2025 NCAA Midwest/Central Regional Championship. Hosted by Missouri Western, the three-day tournament will be held May 8-10 at the par-71, 6,596-yard St. Joseph Country Club.

Ranked No. 49 nationally and No. 5 in the Central Region, the Muleriders enter the postseason after a strong showing at the Great American Conference (GAC) Championships, where they finished fourth with a team total of 849 (+9) over three rounds.

Leading the way for SAU was freshman Blane Burk, who earned a fourth-place individual finish with a three-round total of 208 (-2), highlighted by an impressive final-round 66. Luke Cote tied for 13th with a 216 (+6), finishing strong with a 67 and tallying 10 birdies over the tournament. Wil Griffin tied for 18th at 218 (+8), recording eight birdies and an eagle across his rounds of 76, 70, and 72.

Logan McDonald rebounded from a rough second round to tie for 21st with a 220 (+10), posting rounds of 71, 82, and a final-day 67. He led the team with 11 birdies and added an eagle. Rounding out the lineup, Will Blake tied for 28th with a 224 (+14), carding rounds of 74, 71, and 79, along with eight birdies.

Tournament play begins Thursday morning, May 8, with all five Muleriders teeing off from hole 1. Will Blake leads off at 10:30 a.m., followed by Wil Griffin (10:42), Luke Cote (10:54), Logan McDonald (11:06), and Blane Burk (11:18).
