>>> Southern Arkansas enters its first home outing after starting its season 3-2, with wins against Newman, Arkansas-Fort Smith, and Texas-Permian Basin. The Muleriders are coming off a challenging road match against the seventh-ranked Lubbock Christian Lady Chaps, in which the Blue and Gold lost by just 12 points on the road to the top-ten group.
>>> Even though losing, the Muleriders saw plenty of production in their two outings in the Lone Star State. Nine double-digit scoring performances were recorded by SAU, with those performances coming from Hope Bump (20), Shiloh Fletcher (17, 13), Blythe Crawley (12, 10), Kadia Ward (10), Elena Lijo-Rodriguez (10, 12), and Kennedy Moss (11).
>>> Fletcher looks to have found her groove with her last couple of performances, as the junior from Howe, Oklahoma recorded a team-high 30 points in her last two games, in which saw the Mulerider shoot 4-8 from beyond the arc. Against #7 LCU, Shiloh recorded a 100% three-point percentage after making all three of her shots.
>>> Bump had herself a very impressive outing against the UTPB Falcons, as the true freshman recorded her second 20+ point performance this season, with 20 points against UTPB. Hope's point total was delivered mostly due to her three-point efficiency, after making 6-of-9 from the range.
CBU Notables

>>> The Lady Buccaneers scoring offense has not been the team's strong suit against Division II foes up to this point, but on the defensive side of the ball, the unit has been impressive. CBU, so far, leads the Gulf South Conference in a pair of categories for scoring defense, allowing just 51.3 points per game (21st DII), and three-point percentage defense, allowing just 23.2% from beyond the arc.
