MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The Southern Arkansas University Women's Basketball program has announced its full 2026-27 schedule, which is highlighted by three early-season home non-conference tilts against Wiley University (Nov. 9), University of the Ozarks (Nov. 17), and Union University (Tenn.)(Nov. 20).
 
To start off the new campaign, the Muleriders plan to head out to west Texas for the West Texas A&M Classic in Canyon, Texas, from October 30-31. The unit will begin the year with contests against Angelo State (Oct. 30 | 2:15 PM) and Metropolitan State (Oct. 31 | 12:00 PM).
 
A little over a week after the WT Classic, the Blue and Gold will begin home action inside the W.T. Watson Center against the Wiley University Lady Wildcats on November 9 at 11:00 AM.
 
The squad goes back on the road to Fort Smith, Arkansas, as the group will compete once again in the Central Region Tip-Off Challenge. SAU will be set to matchup with Newman University (Nov. 13 | 7:30 PM) and the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith (Nov. 14 | 3:00 PM).
 
The following week, Southern Arkansas will be back at home for a two-game stretch against out-of-conference competition against the University of the Ozarks on November 17 at 5:30 PM, and Union University (Tenn.) on November 20 at 5:30 PM.
 
The final non-conference action for the Muleriders prior to Great American Conference play, the Blue and Gold drive out to Wichita Falls, Texas, to take on the Midwestern State Mustangs on November 24 at 5:30 PM.
 
To tip off GAC competition, the Muleriders will begin at home against the Arkansas-Monticello Cotton Blossoms on December 3 for a 5:30 PM start time. The group will then take a three-game road trip around Arkansas, with outings at Arkansas Tech (Dec. 5 | 1:00 PM), Ouachita Baptist (Dec. 10 | 5:30 PM), and Harding (Dec. 12 | 3:00 PM).
 
To finish off home action for 2026, Southern Arkansas will host the Henderson State Reddies for a Thursday night bout on December 17 at 5:30 PM.
 
The following day, the Muleriders are scheduled to travel to Martin, Tennessee, where SAU will play an exhibition game against NCAA Division I University of Tennessee at Martin (Dec. 18 | TBA). The unit will have one more exhibition outing for the campaign during the Christmas break, as the Blue and Gold will head to Cleburne St, Texas, to play NCAA Division I Texas Southern University (Dec. 29 | TBA).
 
After the new year begins, the Muleriders will host three straight conference matchups, as the squad will face Ouachita Baptist for a second time (Jan. 2 | 1:00 PM), and will then take on west Oklahoma foes Northwestern Oklahoma State (Jan. 7 | 5:30 PM) and Southwestern Oklahoma State (Jan. 9 | 1:00 PM).
 
Following a two-game stretch in central Oklahoma against Oklahoma Baptist (Jan. 14 | 5:30 PM) and Southern Nazarene (Jan. 16 | 1:00 PM), Southern Arkansas will be back inside the W.T. Watson Center for games against Southeastern Oklahoma State on January 21 at 5:30 PM and East Central on January 23 at 1:00 PM.
 
The group will repeat that cycle once more, as the Blue and Gold head to Southwestern Oklahoma State (Jan. 28 | 5:30 PM) and Northwestern Oklahoma State (Jan. 30 | 1:00 PM) before coming back home to matchup with Southern Nazarene on February 4 at 5:30 PM and Oklahoma Baptist on February 6 at 1:00 PM.
 
After a final three-game road stretch at East Central (Feb. 11 | 5:30 PM), Southeastern Oklahoma State (Feb. 13 | 1:00 PM), and Arkansas-Monticello (Feb. 18 | 5:30 PM), the Muleriders will have one final home stint with Arkansas Tech in town on February 20 at 1:00 PM and Harding on February 25 at 5:30 PM for Senior Night.
 
To cap off the regular season, Southern Arkansas will head up to Arkadelphia, Arkansas for a final bout with Henderson State on February 27 at 1:00 PM.
