WACO, Texas – The Southern Arkansas University Muleriders football team have broken into this week's latest AFCA Coaches Poll. The Muleriders are back in the rankings for the first time since October 25th, 2024, when the Muleriders played Harding.
 
The Blue and Gold come in at number 25 in the AFCA Coaches Poll after beating Arkansas Tech 42-7 this past Saturday. The ranking comes a week after SAU broke into the D2Football.com rankings in which they also moved up from number 25 to number 22 this week.
 
The Muleriders will be on the road this week as they look to continue their winning ways in Arkadelphia, Arkansas for a meeting with Ouachita Baptist University on Saturday, October 25th. Kickoff is set for 1:00 pm.
