LANCASTER, PA. – As the football season quickly approaches, D2Football.com has released their Elite 100 watchlist. Appearing on the First Team – Special Teams list is Southern Arkansas' very own Jay Todd Baker.
 
The Magnolia, Arkansas native makes the preseason list after being named to the Elite 100 team at the conclusion of the 2025 season. In 2025, Baker totaled 32 punts through nine games with 1,430 yards. Baker averaged 44.69 yards per punt with a long punt of 69-yards. He also recorded 12 punts of 50+ yards and 11 punts downed inside the 20-yard line. Additionally, he was a First Team All-GAC Punter as well as a Harlon Hill nominee.
