MONKEY ISLAND, Okla. – The Mulerider Men's Golf team and Head Coach
Neriah Brown made their second trip to Oklahoma as they competed in the MSSU Fall Invitational hosted by Missouri Southern, at the beginning of this week. They were set to compete in three rounds over two days but due to bad weather round two got cancelled on Monday afternoon and they went straight into round three Tuesday morning.
The Mulerider Men posted a total score of 602 (+26) strokes, placing them in 15th.
Logan McDonald led the group of the five Mulerider Men as he went through the tournament shooting par 21 times and recorded six birdies. McDonald went three-over-par during the first round and improved with two strokes for the last round finishing the round with only one-over-par and recording a total score of 148 (+4) placing him tied for 34th.
Junior
Luke Cote went five-over-par (149) over the 36 holes and placed T40.
Will Blake (152; +8),
Blane Burk (153; +9), and
Collin Spangler (156; +12), all placed within the field's top-75 as they finished T58, T63, and T75 respectively.
The Mulerider Men are heading to Hot Springs, Arkansas on Monday (Sep. 30) to compete in Henderson State's Battle for the Belt.
