Yuri Gondouin who was unbeaten in last Monday's nonconference match with #20 West Alabama.
A native of Saint-Germain-En-Laye, France, Gondouin and doubles teammate
Marko Nikoliuk defeated UWA's Ilia Dehodiuk and Patricio Nieto 6-3. In singles play, Gondouin topped the Tigers' Ilari Vesanen 6-1, 6-4 at line No. 2.
Monday's weekly honor for the Frenchman is the second in his collegiate career as a Mulerider. He was previously named the GAC's Men's Tennis Player of the Week on March 7, 2019 after posting a 6-0 record over four matches in the Muleriders' first season as an NCAA program.
Gondouin and the Muleriders return to action on Saturday, March 27 as MIAA-GAC play begins in Shawnee, Oklahoma, against Oklahoma Baptist.
