KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Uwe Diehl has been named the MIAA/GAC Athlete of the Week presented by ClassicCourt for his performances against Mississippi College and Southeastern Oklahoma State.
 
The Junior from Niederdorfelden, Germany led the Muleriders going 4-0 this week in two matches as the team finished with a 1-1 record. Against the No. 17 ranked Mississippi College Choctaws, Uwe and his partner Jonas Sommer won their doubles match at line two 6-4 as the Blue and Gold took the doubles point. Uwe went on to win his singles match against Simon Pfau at line three singles in straight sets (7-5, 6-3).
 
Uwe continued his dominant streak against Southeastern Oklahoma State winning at line two doubles 6-4 then winning his singles match in straight sets again (7-6, 7-5).
