MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The Southern Arkansas Men's Tennis team is set for their first round of play at the MIAA/GAC Championship tournament. The tournament will take place over the course of the next three days April 29th-May 1st.
The Muleriders will enter the tournament as the number three seed in the south division and will open play against the number two seed University of Nebraska at Kearney. First serve of the match is set for 2:00 p.m.
SAU Notables
>>> SAU had a successful match to end the season as they defeated the Southeastern Oklahoma State University Savage Storm in clean sweep fashion 7-0.
>>> The Muleriders also had three players named to the All-MIAA team including
Frode Neumann (First Team Singles),
Lucas Nitzschke (Second Team Singles), and
Jonas Sommer (Honorable Mention Singles).
Jonas Sommer was also named the MIAA/GAC Freshman of the Year.
