Muleriders head back to Oklahoma; trek to Alva for Week 6 tilt (GAME NOTES)

The sixth week of the 2019 season sends the Southern Arkansas Football team on their longest trek of the campaign; a lengthy tour back to the Sooner State for a 2 p.m. kickoff in Alva against Northwestern Oklahoma.

The Muleriders (4-1, 4-1 GAC) and Rangers (2-3, 2-3 GAC) meet for the tenth time all-time on Saturday and it marks the seventh-consecutive meeting between the two opponents as members of the Great American Conference. Prior to being GAC foes, SAU and NWOSU played in 1977 and 1978 as well as in 1997.
