Alva, Okla. - For the first time this season and for the calendar year, the Muleriders are making the trip out to Oklahoma, where they will take on Northwest Oklahoma State on Thursday in Alva before heading over to Weatherford to take on Southwestern Oklahoma State on Saturday.

The Muleriders enter this weekend in a five-way tie for first place in the GAC with a 3-1 conference record, while the Rangers are joint-second bottom of the standings at 1-3, and the Bulldogs sit tied for last with a record of 0-4. Both the Rangers and the Bulldogs will face a tough weekend as they will be taking on Arkansas-Monticello, a team tied for the conference lead, as well as hosting the Muleriders this weekend.

The Rangers enter this weekend off a 94-90 overtime win over Emporia State. All three of the Rangers victories this season have been for a combined nine points. Two of the three Rangers' wins this season have come on their home floor, with the aforementioned win over Emporia State, as well as their only conference win, which was a one-point victory over Oklahoma Baptist.

The Rangers have two players scoring in double digits, both of whom are in the top 20 in the conference for scoring. The Rangers are led in scoring by seniors Joseph Moorer and Treyvon Andres. Moorer is averaging 14.2 points per game, which ranks him 15th in the conference, while Andres' 13.7 points per game ranks him 19th in the GAC.

Moorer has three games this season in which he has scored more than 20 points, with 26 points versus Central Oklahoma, 28 points against MSU Denver and 23 points versus Oklahoma Baptist. The Rangers are 2-1 this season when Moorer scores more than 20 points.

Andres has posted three double-doubles this season, with 20 points and 13 rebounds in a loss against Northeastern State; 11 points and 11 rebounds against East Central; and 17 points and 12 rebounds versus Emporia State. The Rangers are 1-2 this season when Andres records a double-double. Unsuprisingly, Andres leads the team in rebounding, averaging 8.3 rebounds per contest.

The Bulldogs are coming off a 99-88 win over NCCAA school Randall University. All three of the Bulldogs wins have been between 6 and 16 points, and two of those three wins have come on the Bulldogs' home floor. The Bulldogs have scored 74 points or more in every single game this season. The Bulldogs have lost all four of their GAC contests by an average of 15 points per game.

The Bulldogs are led by junior Tre Evans, who currently leads the conference in scoring at 26.3 points per game. Evans has been the Bulldogs' leading scorer in every game he has played this season, including a season-high 40 points versus Southern Nazarene.

The Muleriders are led in scoring by the backcourt duo of Draylan Perkins and Jalen Brooks, with 11.3 points per game. Guard CJ Elkins and forward DeVante Brooks are also averaging double-digit scoring marks, and DeVante Brooks ranks in the top five in the GAC in rebounding and blocked shots.

Following this road trip, the Muleriders will be home next weeekend to host East Central and Southeastern Oklahoma State at the W. T. Watson Center.
