Rolla, Mo. – The SAU Women's Basketball team hits the road for the first time this season as they travel up to Rolla, Missouri to take on Missouri S&T in a non-conference matchup.
The Muleriders are coming off a midweek game against Southeastern Baptist College which saw the Muleriders score a season-high 77 points, including four players scoring in double digits.
The Miners of Missouri S&T currently sit at 1-0 overall on the season, having beaten Blackburn 99-42 in their only game this season.
Freshman guard
Ariana Guinn comes into this weekend as the team's top scorer, averaging 11.7 points per game, including 17 points in Tuesday's win over the Chargers. Guinn has been the top scorer for the Muleriders in two of three games this season.
Senior forward
Alyssa Crase is leading the way for the Muleriders on the glass, averaging seven rebounds per game, as well as having been the team's top rebounder in two of three games this season.
As a team, the Muleriders are shooting 32.9 percent from the field, as well as 31.3 percent from behind the arc, and 66.1 percent from the free throw line.
This will be the last game for the Muleriders before they open conference play on November 29th, when they welcome Henderson State into the W. T. Watson Center.
