Tipping Off
The Southern Arkansas men's basketball is looking to exact some retribution on their next two opponents as the Muleriders suffered losses to both Arkansas Tech and Henderson State earlier in the year. Both
losses came by a combined eight points as the Wonder Boys edged the Muleriders by two in Magnolia and the Reddies were able to beat SAU by six points at home in Arkadelphia.

This weekend's games carry a tremendous amount of importance to the Muleriders as they are playing to secure a spot in the upcoming Great American Conference Tournament in March. It would be the Muleriders'sixth-straight appearance in the GAC Tournament.

Currently, the Muleriders are slotted in the eighth and final tournament position and are two games in front of the ninth-place team, Northwestern Oklahoma. Arkansas Tech is tied for second in the standings, but Henderson State is tied for sixth and are just one game ahead of SAU.
