FINAL RESULTS
DELHI, La. – The Southern Arkansas men's golf team concluded play in the Wallace Jones Invitational, hosted by the University of Louisiana-Monroe, by playing the third and final round on Tuesday afternoon at the Black Bear Golf Resort in Delhi, La. SAU would come away with a 15th-place team finish amid the Division I-filled field.
The leading golfer for the Muleriders on Tuesday was Pablo Lavin as he shot a +5 (77) in the final round. Overall, Lavin would finish the tournament as the third golfer for the Muleriders after he carded a three-round total of 235 (+19).
The top golfer for the entirety of the tournament for SAU was
George Adams as he shot 225 (+9) over the three rounds. Behind Adams was
Jacob Etherington with a 229 (+13) for the tournament. Rounding out tournament scoring for SAU was
Dalton Johnson with a 236 (+20).
The Muleriders will now prepare to host their spring classic at the Mystic Creek Golf Course in El Dorado. The two-day classic is set to begin on Monday, March 30 and conclude on Tuesday, March 31.
