MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Mulerider Volleyball has announced the schedule for the upcoming 2026 season, as the Blue and Gold, who are led by fourth-year Head Coach Alli Harrell, are coming off their second Great American Conference Championship Tournament appearance in three years.
 
The Muleriders' first serve of the 2026 campaign is set to take place inside the W.T. Watson Center in Magnolia, as the unit will host a season-opening tournament that will span over three days (August 27-29). In the tournament, SAU is scheduled to compete in four matches, with two of those taking place on Saturday, August 28.
 
Following the opening weekend, the Muleriders will pack their bags for a trip to Denton, Texas, as the squad will compete in their second of three early-season tournaments, hosted by Texas Women's University (September 3-5). Like the weekend prior, the Blue and Gold are set to take part in four more matches in North Texas.
 
On the following Tuesday, September 8, Southern Arkansas will begin GAC action with a road match against the defending GAC Regular Season Champions, the Ouachita Baptist Tigers.
 
After getting league play underway, SAU will head up to Searcy, Arkansas for the team's final early-season tournament (September 11-12). At the tournament, the Muleriders will compete in three matches over two days.
 
Great American Conference action at home will be in full tilt on September 15, as Southern Arkansas will take on the Henderson State Reddies at 6:00 PM for the third-annual Kidney Foundation Game. Next up in theme matches for SAU, the Blue and Gold will host its annual Pink Out Game, in which the Muleriders will take on the Ouachita Baptist Tigers on October 22 at 6:00 PM. The final outing inside the W.T. Watson Center for the 2026 campaign is scheduled for November 3, as Mulerider Volleyball will honor its seniors prior to taking on the Harding Lady Bisons for a 6:00 PM first serve. Including those three matches mentioned, SAU will host seven home GAC matches and will be on the road for nine matches in the league.
