Set One (W, 25-13)
Southern Arkansas began the match with a strong 3-0 start, and looked to immediately gain complete control of the Gold Dome, but the Ladies had other plans for a brief period, tying the match at 5-5. SAU quickly followed up the tied contest with a 7-1 stretch to go up 11-6. While Centenary continued to battle back against SAU, the Muleriders continued to stretch its advantage to cruise to a 25-13 opening set win.
Set Two (W, 25-13)
The Ladies got the scoring started in the following set, but the group was shortly followed by a 5-0 stretch from the Muleriders, with just one attack error. Centenary quickly brought the set back within two points, but SAU tacked on another strong stretch of offense and awareness to go up 12-4 with a 6-0 stretch. Southern Arkansas kept up the strong performance with three more runs of three or more straight points to secure set two with a 25-13 final.
Set Three (W, 25-17)
Set three started in a similar way to the two previous, as Southern Arkansas had another strong beginning with a 3-0 lead. That lead did not last very long though, as the Muleriders were faced with some adversity from the Ladies' offense scoring a 7-2 stretch to take a 7-5 advantage. The Blue and Gold quickly responded to the adversity though, with the Muleriders scoring seven of the next nine points, going back up 12-9. After a few more points, the Ladies closed the gap to one point at 13-12, but SAU followed with a 6-0 run and used the stretch to carry them to a 25-17 set three win for the triumph in the match.

Southern Arkansas' next outing will be back inside the W.T. Watson Center, as the Muleriders will host its annual Pink Out Game with the Ouachita Baptist Tigers coming into town for a 6:00 PM match on Thursday, October 22.
