RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference has released its weekly honors for softball, as the league has announced that Mulerider Softball's
Emma Duncan has earned her second GAC Pitcher of the Week honor this season.
Duncan claims her second weekly award after finishing the weekend 2-0 with 12.0 innings pitched, in which she allowed just three hits, runs, and walks, while also fanning 13 batters. After earning her second Pitcher of the Week honor in five weeks, the most by any GAC pitcher this season, the Canadian adds on to her already impressive statistics this campaign, as the grad student leads the Great American Conference in complete games (8 | 13
th DII), hits allowed per seven innings (3.81 | 10
th DII), innings pitched (82.2 | 8
th DII), shutouts (4 | 2
nd DII), and strikeouts (90 | 4
th DII).
