LOUISVILLE, Kent. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) has announced its last edition of the NFCA/GoRout Division Coaches Poll. Rising up the ranks in the latest poll are the Muleriders, as Southern Arkansas makes the advancement to number seven in the association's top 25.
 
In the poll, the Muleriders rank second in the Central Region, as the only team ahead of SAU within the same region is the Missouri Southern State Lions, one of two teams to defeat Team 28, at number four. Southern Arkansas is one of six groups from the Central Region in the top 25. The Muleriders are just one of two teams from the Great American Conference to be ranked, as Oklahoma Baptist sits at 14.
 
Team 28 has exceeded the highest ranking of Team 27, as the unit moves up to seventh in the nation after recording the second-straight sweep in conference play, and third-straight conference series win. During last weekend's sweeping of Ouachita Baptist, the Muleriders won game one of the series with a three-run walk-off dinger by Paris Endris (4-1) and then saw dominant play in games two and three with 14-0 (5 inn.) and 9-2 victories.
 
The squad's next bit of action will take place in Alva, Oklahoma, as SAU will take its longest drive of the regular season to face the Northwestern Oklahoma State Rangers on Friday and Saturday (Mar. 13-14).
