TYLER, Texas — Mulerider Women's Tennis (1-4) took on the 21st-ranked University of Texas at Tyler Patriots on Saturday. Southern Arkansas ended up falling to the Pats with a final score of 6-1.
The Muleriders started up the match by winning the first of three matches in doubles play, with Taylor Conway and Roksana Kokocha defeating Natalia Gorzny and Yona Bancarel (7-5) in line one doubles. UT-Tyler proceeded to regain momentum back with a tie-breaking win in line two (6(3)-7(7)) against Emilie Senepart and Jolina Mass, and then went on to claim the third line (6-2) against Victoria Perez and Isabella Lazzerini.
Southern Arkansas looked to gain some momentum back in singles action. SAU managed to gain one point in the match with a line five singles win by Taylor Conway against Claudia Di Leonardo (6-4, 6-4).
