MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Mulerider Men's and Women's Cross Country get things rolling this weekend as the groups are set for their 2025 season-opening meet in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, at the Bob Gravett Invitational, hosted by Ouachita Baptist on September 6.
Teams participating in the 2025 BGI include Arkansas Tech, Arkansas-Monticello, Hendrix, Rhodes College, and the host Ouachita Baptist.
The Mulerider Men look to run 15 members of the squad in the meet, which includes the Blue and Gold's lead runner from a year ago in
Wesley Maxwell, who currently has a personal record time of 15:49.6 at the BGI (5K). The time is also his best for the distance. Other Muleriders to accompany Maxwell on the course will include

Johnny Hart,
Jack Landrum,
Fintan Lehman,
Myson McFall,
Hez Morris,
Diego Moya,
Lyndon Orr,
Charles Patton,
Hunter Pye,
Gary Smith,
Joseph Uc, and
Zander Woodward.
While the Mulerider Women do not return their lead runner from a year ago in
Logan Warren, the crew still sees returning experience in
Savanah Esterline,
Cantley Gosdin,
Cheyenne Olson,
Rylee Robinson, and
Ava Zindler. While the five listed are returning, this will be all of their first times out at the Bob Gravett Invitational. In total, nine squad members are scheduled in for the competition, with four making their first appearance in the Blue and Gold. Those four include
