MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The first major tournament of the fall 2025 season for the Southern Arkansas Mulerider Men's Tennis team has them heading to Edmond, Oklahoma for the 2025 ITA Division II Men's Central Regional Championships, scheduled Friday through Sunday, September 26–28.
The Muleriders will send eight players to compete in both singles and doubles across two flights. Representing the Blue and Gold are:
Singles Play/Doubles Play
Both Flight A and Flight B singles draws will begin with a Round of 64. Some players may receive first-round byes, depending on seeding.
- Main Draw (Round of 64 Pairings)
- Sebastian De Las Salas will play Faris Graham
- Jonas Sommer will play Jose Antonio Velasco
- Lucas Nitzschke will play Jakub Strzelecki
- Frode Neumann will play Genaro Dagotto
- Uwe Diehl will play Andy Brisdon
- Balsa Djokovic will play Mostafa Elbasnaly
- These matches will begin Friday morning, with the top bracket of the bracket starting at 10:30 AM and the bottom bracket at 12:00 PM.
- Flight B (Bye to round of 32)
- Shun Wakino will play Jan Alexander Has
- Andreas Gabriel Seidel will play Keagen Lowman
- Matches will begin at 12:30 PM and 1:15 PM on Friday
Doubles Play
The Muleriders will field three doubles pairings in the first flight.
- Flight A
- Diehl and Sommer will pair up and play their opening match on Friday at 9:00 AM against Poppenga and Garcia
- Nitzschke and Neumann will play on Friday at 9:00 AM against van den Dugan and Carpano
- De Las Salas and Djokovic will play on Friday at 9:00 AM against Elbasnaly and Kacer
- Flight B
- Wakino and Seidel will play on Friday at 9:45 AM against Linet and Denda
