TULSA, Okla. – The Southern Arkansas University Men's Golf team wrapped up play today at the NSU Men's Golf Classic finishing tied for sixth as a team at -6 under par with 846 total strokes through three rounds of play.
Newcomer
Martin Hurtado was the highest individual finisher tying for fifth overall at -8 under par with 205 total strokes. Returners
Collin Spangler and
Jett Stephenson both finished tied for 28th overall at even par and 213 total strokes.
Travis Bassett finished tied for 66th overall at +6 over par with 219 total strokes.
Luke Cote rounded out the team scoring for the Mulerider men finishing tied for 82nd at +9 over par with 222 total strokes.
Felix Lin competed as an individual in the tournament and finished tied for 105th overall at +20 overall with 233 total strokes.
The sixth-place finish for the men had them ahead of six other GAC teams that were also at the tournament. Only Harding and Arkansas Tech placed higher than the Muleriders.
The men will be back in action Sunday, September 28th through Monday, September 29th in Hot Springs Arkansas at the Battle for the Belt hosted by Henderson State at the Hot Springs Country Club.
