MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The Southern Arkansas University Men's Golf team is set for their first tournament of the fall schedule as they head to Tulsa, Oklahoma to take part in the NSU Men's Classic September 15th – 16th. The two day tournament is hosted by Northeastern State and will take place at the Page Belcher Golf Club.
The Mulerider men will look to carry the momentum off of last season as they made an appearance in their fourth straight NCAA regional tournament. The men will be one of 20 teams in this weeks tournament in a field that includes fellow GAC foes Southern Nazarene, Southeastern Oklahoma State, Northwestern Oklahoma State, Southwestern Oklahoma State, Arkansas Tech, UAM, Harding, and East Central.
The men will see some familiar faces on the course this weekend including,
Luke Cote,
Collin Spangler, and
Jett Stephenson.
Travis Bassett,
Martin Hurtado, and
Felix Lin will also make their Mulerider debut this week.
Felix Lin will compete as an individual for the tournament and will not contribute to the team score.
