MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Mulerider Softball is back in action inside the Dr. Margaret Downing Softball Complex for the group's final doubleheader against in-state rival Arkansas-Monticello. Southern Arkansas enters the matchup at 35-5 overall and boasts a conference-best 25-1 after claiming victory in their last 25 games. The group's winning streak is currently the longest ongoing winning streak in NCAA DII.
 
Series History
Arkansas-Monticello currently leads the all-time series against the Muleriders as the Cotton Blossoms are 55-52 against Southern Arkansas, but have been on the downside in the last ten contests with the Muleriders being victors in the last ten meetings and are 34-9 against UAM since the 2014 season.

Southern Arkansas in the circle has and continues to be led by senior pitcher Brinson Rogers as the Statesboro, Georgia native comes into the contests leading the Great American Conference in complete games (19 | 8^th DII), ERA (0.70 | 3^rd DII), games started (25 | 7th DII), hits allowed per seven innings (3.46 | 3rd DII), innings pitched (160.0 | 6th DII), shutouts (16 | 1st DII), strikeouts (224 | 2nd DII), strikeouts per seven innings (9.8 | 7^th DII), WHIP (0.78 | 4^th DII), and victories (24 | 1^st DII).
 
Sophia Stoddard leads the group in batting average with a .358 as she has recorded 43 hits, 18 runs, seven doubles, a triple, and 14 RBIs. Leading the team in home runs is still Regan Dillon as she has tallied ten this season and leads in RBIs with 30.
 
A Glimpse at the Cotton Blossoms
Arkansas-Monticello enters the contests with a 15-25 record overall and a 9-17 record in the GAC. The Blossoms are coming off just being swept by Southeastern Oklahoma State in Durant, Oklahoma.
