MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Jeremy Adorno has won his second GAC Pitcher of the Week award in his 2025 campaign for his performance against Northwestern Oklahoma State University on Saturday in game one of the three-game series.
While Adorno claims his second league plaudit this season, he is also the second-straight Mulerider to claim the conference's pitcher of the week honor as
Beau Leonards won the award last week. In his career, the Sunshine State native has earned his eighth GAC Pitcher of the Week title.
The Kissimmee, Florida native made his seventh start of the season against the Rangers and had an outstanding performance. Adorno threw nine innings in a complete game shutout as the Muleriders won 3-0. He allowed just three hits, no runs, and no earned runs on the outing while fanning eight hitters. The complete game performance was the 13th complete game of his career as a Mulerider.
Adorno and the Muleriders are back in action this week as Southern Arkansas is set to take on Henderson State in a non-conference Tuesday midweek game at 6:00 PM and will continue league play this week as the Blue and Gold host the Southwestern Oklahoma State Bulldogs.
