The win at the Central Region Challenge is the Muleriders first win in an opening season challenge since the Muleriders beat the University of Mary in 2018 at the GAC/NSIC Challenge.

>>> The Hillcats come into the matchup with a 2-1 overall record. RSU played Ouachita Baptist in their first game of the season and fell to the Tigers by a final score of 54-64 then going on to defeat Harding by a final score of 88-61.
>>> Jabryn Anderson and Tim Jordan Jr. are the two leading scorers for the Hillcats both with 23 points through three games. Caden Fry trails closely behind with 19 points followed by Andrew Mason with 18.
>>> Caden Fry is the Hillcats top rebounder with 12 total rebounds this season and averages six per game. Damondre McKnight is the assist leader with six assists.
