Ja’Kourion is entering his first season with the Muleriders after transferring from South Ark Community College.
 
2023-24 (Freshman South Ark): Played in 20 games making 20 starts…Shot 49% from the field, 39% from beyond the arc, and 73% from the free throw line…Scored 392 points…Totaled 104 rebounds, 37 assists, 28 turnovers, 19 steals, and 15 blocks
 
Personal: Ja’Kourion is a native of Dubach, Louisiana and graduated from Junction City High School. He is the son of Vicky Key and Dekourtney Dunn and the brother of Kavarion Key, Zakiyah Key, Myson Dies, Remi Dies, Khourtlin Dunn, and Mackenzie Jackson. While at South Ark, Ja’Kourion was named a Junior College All-American, Conference MVP and also earned his degree from South Ark. While attending SAU, Ja’Kourion will pursue a degree in Sports Management.
