Kabisch, Dauenhauer claim All-GAC honors; five Muleriders named to GAC Honor Roll

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. —The Great American Conference has released its 2025 volleyball all-conference honors during the GAC Volleyball Championship Tournament banquet located on the campus of Oklahoma Baptist University. Southern Arkansas saw a pair of Muleriders make the All-GAC list, as Sadie Kabisch and Brinklee Dauenhauer were both named all-league members. The conference also announced its academic honors for volleyball, as Southern Arkansas saw five members make the GAC Honor Roll.

Sadie Kabisch | Senior | Henrietta, Texas (All-GAC Second Team)

A native of Henrietta, Texas, Kabisch acquired her second all-conference award in her second year at Southern Arkansas University, as the Texan was named to the league's second team as a libero. Kabisch has had nothing short of an amazing senior year, as she is not only the Great American Conference's leader in digs (706) and digs per set (6.19), but also leads all of NCAA Division II in both statistics. Leading the way for DII, Kabisch is also the only player in the classification with at least 700 digs at the end of the regular season. Her average of digs per set out gains the rest of the division by nearly a whole tenth, as she is ahead by at least .09. The senior has played in 114 sets this season, which ranks tied for tenth in the nation for digs leaders. In her senior year, Kabisch accounted for 1,000 career digs as a Mulerider, as she is currently sitting at 1,239 digs while wearing the Blue and Gold.

Brinklee Dauenhauer | Junior | Springtown, Texas (All-GAC Honorable Mention)

The Muleriders' leader in kills (344) and points (387.5), Dauenhauer earned her first all-conference honor, as the junior the second-most kills in the Great American Conference and ranked 74th in the nation for her mark. In her junior year, Dauenhauer has accounted for many incredible feats, such as when she tied the program's single-match record for kills with 28 against Southeastern Oklahoma State (10/9/2025), or even during that same match that she broke the single-match program record for total attacks with 76. Dauenhauer kept the pressure on defenses all season long, as the junior is also responsible for the second-most attacks in the GAC with 1,106, which also ranks 29th nationally. The Texan not only was lighting it up on the offensive side of play, but has also been incredibly efficient for the Muleriders' defense, as she is second on the team in total digs with 337. With her kills and digs this season, Dauenhauer has recorded ten double-doubles in her third season as a Mulerider.

Southern Arkansas' next set of action begin tomorrow (Thursday | Nov. 20) at 3:00 PM, as the eight-seeded Muleriders will face the top-seeded Ouachita Baptist Tigers in the quarterfinal round of the Great American Conference Championship Tournament.
