MAGNOLIA, Ark. - Mulerider Men's Tennis tied for 25th in the first ITA National Team Rankings for the 2025 spring season released on Wednesday, January 15th.
The Mulerider Men have accumulated 39 singles wins and 34 losses in the 2024 fall season. Senior Tim Fischer, who secured a semifinal run at the ITA Central Region Championships, holds an impressive 10-4 record, while newcomer Jinsei Tajima follows with a solid 8-3 record on the singles court. In doubles play, the team has collectively earned 32 wins and 31 losses.
The Mulerider Men are looking to keep the standards from the 2023-24 season that finished at the NCAA National Tournament in Orlando, Florida. Returning to the team this year are seniors Fischer and Lluc Pasqual, and sophomores William Von Pongracz, Mathys Pinoit, and Frode Neumann. Newcomers to this year's team are Tajima, Uwe Diehl, Lucas Ibanez, David Wallechner, and Niklas Mueller.
Fischer is also placed on the ITA National Singles ranking list that was released on November 13th, 2024. The Frankfurt, Germany native set a personal milestone by achieving his highest national ranking, placing 31st in the nation.
The Mulerider Men still have some time left to get ready for their 2025 spring season opener in Lafayette, Louisiana where they are facing the University of Louisiana on February 7.
