Connor Harrington has been named to the College Sports Communicators Men's At-Large Academic All-American Third Team. Harrington adds to his already stocked up resume from 2023-24 as the Magnolia, Arkansas native has been named a GAC Distinguished Scholar Athlete, the Murphy USA Male Scholar Athlete of the Year award recipient (Seventh Annual Mulespys), and now an Academic All-American.
The life-long Mulerider finished his final season swinging for SAU as the 145
th best golfer in Division II and 20
th in the region. Harrington accounted for a 72.9 stroke average on 32 rounds and ended with two top three finishes while also having a record of 537-317-20. He concluded his final season playing for the Muleriders with 370 pars, 81 birdies, and two eagles.
Harrington notched five performances in which he recorded a stroke count of even or less while also having six top-15 outings. In the Southern Arkansas hosted Arkansas Collegiate, the senior led the field of 69 for the vast majority of round one and was then only bested by his teammate, fellow outgoing senior
Caleb Miller. Harrington's role helped his team pave their path back to the NCAA DI Central/Midwest Regional for the third-consecutive campaign.
