Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - Mulerider Volleyball went on the road to Arkadelphia for their second matchup against the Reddies of Henderson State. Southern Arkansas fell short and their unforced errors proved to be costly in maintaining the momentum. The Muleriders dropped the match in three straight sets with the scores 25-19, 25-15, and 25-19.
The team combined for 31 kills, 25 assists, 4 service aces, and 6 block assists over the three sets with senior Isla Olivas leading the group with 7 kills on 20 attacks. Olivas also led the team in points with 8.5 and contributed defensively with 2 digs and 1 block assist. Lauryn Moultrie recorded the second-most kills with a total of 6 kills on 12 attempts, adding 6 points to the Muleriders. Kayte Delong recorded 4 kills and scored 4.5 points for the team.
Sadie Kabisch was active in the back row leading the defense with 15 digs, while Brinklee Dauenhauer chipped in with 7 digs. Dauenhauer also recorded the most service aces with a total of 3. Ava Tanner and McKenna Edwards added 6 digs each.
The Muleriders are looking to bounce back at home on Thursday (Nov. 7) when they are taking on the Golden Suns from Arkansas Tech inside of the W.T. Watson Athletic Center.
