MAGNOLIA, Ark. - Four programs, Mulerider Baseball, Softball and Men's and Women's Track & Field, near the end of their respective regular season campaigns. Mulerider Baseball and Softball prepare for their final weekend of action before senior weekend, while Mulerider Track & Field competes in Monroe, Louisiana at the Warhawk Classic in both programs' final tune up before the GAC Championships. *Southern Arkansas is receiving votes in the NFCA DII Top 25 Coaches Poll for the third straight week and has appeared in every ranking by the organization this season
*The Muleriders hold an overall record of 33-12 after two mid-week wins over Delta State. SAU is 19-8 in conference play and is currently fourth in the GAC standings. SAU clinched a spot in the league tournament after a weekend sweep of Southwestern Oklahoma State.
*The Muleriders are 28-8 against the Rangers all-time and 9-2 in games played in Magnolia.
*The Rangers are 8-19 in conference play and 11-33 overall.
*SAU is leading the GAC in team batting average at .315 and seven Muleriders are batting above .300 for the season. Sydney Ward is leading the pitching staff with a record of 16-6 with a 3.30 ERA. Bailey Thornhill is 12-2 and has an ERA of 3.69. Ward and Thornhill both had complete game shutouts in their midweek matchup against Delta State. The SAU pitching staff is fourth in the GAC in ERA at 2.98.
*Jaxynn Dyson is leading the GAC in on base percentage and is third in slugging percentage. *Alyssa Miller is leading the Muleriders in total hits for the season with 57 which puts her second in the GAC in that category.

*SAU is No. 9 in the NCBWA Top 25 and is up to No. 6 in the CBN Top 30.
*The Muleriders are 25-5 all-time against the Rangers with a record of 10-2 in Alva. After a mid-week win over Mississippi College, the Muleriders moved to 31-11 overall. SAU is 22-5 in GAC play and in first place with a three-game lead with six to play. The Rangers are 18-25 for the season and 8-19 in conference.
*SAU clinched a spot in the GAC Tournament after a weekend sweep against Southwestern Oklahoma State this past weekend at Walker Stadium at Goodheart Field.
*A sweep of the Rangers and singles losses by Arkansas Tech and Ouachita would secure the Muleriders the top seed going into the GAC tournament as well as the outright regular season title.
*Riley Orr is leading the Muleriders with a .386 batting average which puts him third in the GAC. He is also ranked third in on-base percentage. Brandon Nicoll leads SAU in hits with 55 and RBI with 51.
*Mikel Howell and Jeremy Adorno lead the GAC in ERA at 3.24 and 3.31, respectively. Adorno's opposing batting average is the best in the GAC, holding opponents to a .214 average.

*Daymien Smith enters the final weekend of the regular season after setting a NCAA Division II provisional qualifying mark in the 100M with a time of 10.51 to win the event at the Carl Kight Invitational. Three Muleriders: Smith, Landon Way, and Bryson Johnson are within the top five of the fastest times in the 100M in the GAC.
*Johnson has the best 200M time in the GAC at 21.20 which is a DII provisional qualifying time.
*SAU's 4x100 relay of Johnson, Travon Johnson, Smith and Way have a GAC-best time of 41.06
*Four Muleriders: Derrick Onyeador, Keith Smith, Jeremy Jackson, and Carter Duncan make up the top ten performances in the long jump within the GAC leaderboard. Onyeador, Smith, and Jackson's best jumps came at the Carl Kight Invitational last weekend.
*Keith Smith carries the second-best triple jump result into the weekend.
*Hector Hernandez owns the third-fastest time in the 800m event this season.
*Ja'Kamron Zackery is in the top three on the GAC leaderboard in the Shot Put, Discus, and Hammer events.

*Anaya Ervin broke the program record in the heptathlon with 4,301 points to place seventh in the event at the Carl Kight Invitational. That point total ranks third in the GAC.
*The 4x100 relay team consisting of Tyla Berry, Kamrin Hooks, Jordan Collins, and Sa'Moriya Walker ran a 47.00 which is the fastest time ever in the event under current head coach Tim Servis. This is the second-best time within the GAC.
*Rozlyne Manor and Kaliyah Thompson each hold top 10 results in the GAC in the 100H and 400H.
*Alexis Matlock ranks second in the GAC in the High Jump.
*Breyonna Steward ranks second in the triple jump in the GAC and Diamond Brunn ranks third in the long jump.
*Collins is leading the GAC in the 400M and is second in the 200M.
*Kailyn Thomas and Irieyanna Wilson are in the top 3 in the Hammer and Shot Put events.
